Web Success: Getting visitors to your web site

After your web site is completed, your next question is: How do I get people to visit my web site? There are several ways that Matt’s Web Design can increase traffic to your web site, and there are also ways that you can help increase traffic to your web site.

First, lets look at how Matt’s Web Design can help drive traffic to your web site:

Maximize search engine results

bullett.gif (867 bytes) The TITLE tag displays the title of your web page on searches as well as on the title bar of your web browser.

bullett.gif (867 bytes) The KEYWORD tag is invisible to web site browsers. The main function of the keyword tag is for the search engines to pick up certain keywords that are related to your business. You may specify up to 250 keywords to be included in the keyword tag. For example if your business was selling apples, you would want to include keywords like: granny smith, golden delicious, apple, caramel apple, etc..

bullett.gif (867 bytes) The DESCRIPTION tag is what search engines display on their search result pages. Descriptions should be kept brief, but give the user a general idea as to what your company does.

Now, lets look at how YOU can help get people to you web site:

Advertise on equipment
